3/7/2000 NEWS RELEASE
Lopez Island, WA
Media Migration Services, Inc. today announced the development of the first totally portable, pallet based tracking system for sensitive and high value shipments. Initially, the new system is called "TapeTrack" and will be offered to companies that want a true pallet level tracking system. The official launch of TapeTrack is schedules for May 2, 2000. This service will be used mainly in tracking shipments of critical tape libraries, where knowing where a particular tape is located while in transit is immensely important.

When a customer signs up for the service, they will be able to track, at street level, where a particular pallet is located while it is in transit outside of their data center. They will be able to view a map with an indicator that is updated every five minutes. The core of the system works on the Cellemetry (data service that works in combination with GPS Global Positioning Systems to provide geographic tracking data to customers so they know exactly where their tapes are at any given time. This is all simply done by using a internet connection and going to a secure section of Media Migration Services, Inc. website. A reporting option is also available.

Media Migration Services, Inc. markets tape library moving directly to large and small data centers, off-site media storage companies, outsourcing companies and third-party providers whose services include libray moves, raking relocation's, equipment handling and disaster recovery tests.
